Tampa Bay Buccaneers quarterback Baker Mayfield and his wife, Emily Mayfield, announced the birth of their first child Saturday.
The Bucs posted a photo on X of Baker holding his daughter named Kova Jade Mayfield:
It has been a great offseason for Mayfield thus far, as he also signed a three-year, $100 million contract extension to remain in Tampa.
After winning the Heisman Trophy at he University of Oklahoma, Mayfield was the No. 1 overall pick in the 2018 NFL draft. He reached the playoffs once in four seasons with the Browns, but they moved on after the 2021 season when they acquired quarterback Deshaun Watson from the Houston Texans.
