Aaron Ramsdale’s excellent stop against Aston Villa has been nominated for the Premier League Save of the Month for February.
Our number one was at his best very best to deny Leon Bailey when Villa’s winger burst forward down the right flank in the 82nd minute and hammered a shot goalwards, which looked destined to find the net.
However, Aaron showed great reactions to divert it onto the crossbar and keep the score at 2-2, setting us on our way to eventually score twice in the dying stages and grab a crucial three points.
